Berry Trifle

Berry Trifle

Do you want a dessert that is light and fluffy yet satisfying and involves chocolate? Step right up to this delicious Berry Trifle! I have to give credit to my sister, who reminded me about this trifle, so you can thank her if you like it!

This is such a pretty dish and you won’t want to be the first one to dig in because things will never look the same!

P.S. Friends is my favorite show.

Back to the dessert! To make this, get out a Trifle Bowl or large glass bowl then simply alternate your layers of goodness (aka cake, pudding, fruit, cool whip) and repeat. Top with a variety of berries and feel free to drizzle caramel or chocolate on top for extra pizazz!

I like to use yellow cake but you can use any kind you want. Red velvet works really well for 4th of July, Memorial, and Labor Day… even Christmas! I wouldn’t advise using food coloring in the cool whip unless you want to weird people out during Halloween or April Fools.

Lastly, I like to use both vanilla and chocolate pudding for extra color, layers, and because who doesn’t love chocolate?! As always, you can substitute the pudding for any flavor you’d like. Have fun and tag us in your pictures of your own Berry Trifles!

  • The image of the raspberries look like you could pick them right off the screen! I’ve had this dessert and it is justas described…delicious and certainly nothing to “trifle” about.
