Bacon Wrapped Chicken Bites

Bacon Wrapped Chicken Bites

Bacon. Need I say more?

If you insist…

These bacon wrapped chicken bites are perfect for any party, tailgating event, or regular Tuesday evening. They’re sweet, savory, and oh so good. Plus they’re easy to make if you don’t mind getting your hands a little dirty! Simply grab some chicken breast, bacon, sugar, spices, and a baking pan, roll them together, bake, and then…. now this is the most important part…. DON’T BLINK! Or they’ll be gone. And you won’t have had a chance to reap the rewards of your work. I’d say hard work, but anything is worth it for these babies, and let’s face it, this is an easy thing that anyone can make!

You might be wondering, what do these look like completely cooked? This is when I’ll refer you back to the paragraph above, specifically the part where I said, “DON’T BLINK!” because I didn’t even get a chance to photograph the final results. I guess you’ll just have to make them and find out for yourself!

Let me know when you’ve tried this and what else you’d like to see.

Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees and line a baking pan with aluminum foil.
  2. In a small bowl, mix the brown sugar, chili powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Next, wrap a bacon strip around a piece of cubed chicken and then roll the combo in the sugar/chili powder mix.
  4. Skewer the chicken/bacon combo with a toothpick and repeat until all of your chicken and bacon are gone. Depending on how heavy-handed you are with the sugar mixture, you may need to make more.
  5. Pop these babies into the oven and cook for 25-30 minutes until slightly golden. Remove, DON'T BLINK, and shove as many into your mouth as you possibly can before they're all gone.
