I’m Liz, a full-time wife, designer & videographer, mama to our beautiful daughter, Nora, and dog mom to our lab, Mosley. I also hold the keys to our kitchen here in the Midwest.
Basilbelle.com was born out of the desire to connect people through delicious recipes, inspire those who say they “can’t cook,” and it satisfies my own need to be creative and impact others in a positive way.
If you think about it, food is often what brings people together. It doesn’t matter what the occasion is… if you’re at someone’s home or at a restaurant, many important, impactful, and lifetime memories happen around a dinner table.
My hope is that Basil Belle will help you feel empowered to play and create in your own home. You don’t need a gourmet kitchen, years of experience, or loads of money to make dishes that’ll knock your socks off and ensure your friends and family always ask you to bring that dish to Sunday dinner.
Here at Basil Belle, we also love a good DIY project that doesn’t break the bank. My husband and I have lived all over the country, in places big and small, so we’re always looking for ways to be creative with our spaces and make to make our house feel like home. Keep an eye out for some simple ways to make your home feel cozy and comfortable.
